Education and Background:

Catherine is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University where she received a B.S. in Psychology (1988), and went on to pursue graduate studies at Immaculata University with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology (1994).  She also earned a M.A. in Ministry in 2002 from Biblical Theological Seminary (now Missio Seminary). She draws upon a variety of theoretical schools of thought, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, reality therapy, and various trauma-informed approaches.
